Retirement Strategies

Course Description and Objective:

Part 1

Part 1 of this course will focus on the realities and myths of retirement investing. You will see the impact of living in retirement and we will discuss the financial truths of living an active lifestyle, supporting family, and managing your own finances. Also, after working for so many years, your mind must shift from accumulation to distribution. We will show you a conservative approach to wise money management and help you identify lifestyle issues facing retirees.  Attendees will learn how to maximize income, investments, and retirement plans. This course will show you the impact of taxes, inflation, and withdrawals on your portfolio. We will also teach you how to build a cash flow ladder to help you “sleep better” when thinking about your retirement assets.

Part 2

Part 2 of this course will focus on protecting yourself, loved ones, and family in regards to income strategies, long term care, and legacy planning. This course will teach ways to maximize social security to yourself and your spouse. It will also demonstrate ways to help protect your assets from being depleted by long term care, taxes, or mismanagement. We will discuss strategies to protect against the “tax bomb” associated with inherited IRA’s and help with family estate planning. Lastly, we will talk about the real-world concerns of estate and legacy planning. Everyone has an estate and everyone needs a plan, and therefore we will discuss the different options you should consider.
